Welcome to my page! I'm Ashton, the girl behind the camera.
I currently live in Overland Park, KS with my boyfriend & two dogs. During the week I work as a Chiropractor for Premier Family Chiropractic where we specialize in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic! On the weekends I don't have a wedding or photoshoot I enjoy watching football, working out, exploring the outdoors & hanging with friends & family!
My photography business started in March of 2018. At the time I was in graduate school to become a chiropractor. I have always loved traveling & nature, so I decided to invest in my first professional DSLR to capture the beautiful views along the way. Once the word got around I had a nice camera friends & family started to ask me to take pictures for them.
Fun little photoshoots of families, graduations & small events quickly turned into portraits, couples & engagement sessions. Before I knew it, I had created my own business & was capturing my first surprise proposal! That very same year I was asked to photograph my first wedding where I hit the ground running & never looked back.
As much as I love being a wedding photographer - I mean who doesn't love, love - I still make time to photograph the fun sessions that started my career & growing business. I enjoy making everyone smile and feel beautiful regardless of what type of session it is! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a clients face when I show them a sneak peak of their photos or the kind words they send me when a gallery has been delivered. I love making others feel beautiful & letting their personalities & emotion show through the photographs that they can now cherish forever!
